I needed an image to go with my Hobbit/Sherlock crossover fiction reviews, so I drew Smauglock reading. Ye splenty of mistakes in this image - I'm not caring.
I would have finished this today but unfortunately my students suddenly e-mailed me, no sleeping in tomorrow, early rise instead.
Well with a tumblr blog dedicated to all Hobbit/Sherlock crossovers, I see it fit I also review some of the fiction out there. There's so much tat, I like to spare people the pain of flipping through terribly written stories. >_>
Lol, and a valid service you give./Lord knows the amount of times i have pondered across fanfiction I had rather wished I hadn't. I take my hat of to you
I'm very picky when fanfiction is concerned. Even when reading smut I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to the writing (one missplaced word can do so much damage).
Crossover fiction is something I normally avoid - certainly after my traumatizing experiences as a young teen in the pre LotR movies fanfiction fandom. I never want to read a Zelda/LotR crossover again.
So far, I've found two Sherlock/Hobbit crossover fictions I really thought worthwhile my time ... My kind followers also voiced they'd like me to include the mature side of it all - so ... that's another interesting thing.

Really, it's all fun though
