I finally got my stupid PC to scan crap. Now to stop it from saving stuff before I cropped the scan.
So I have loads of work to scan as I'm a game designer on a project which has no game design. Whoo. Doodles! |

You said you were having trouble with scanning and the image saving itself before you can crop?
Are you using Photoshop? And what type of scanner? Just curious..maybe it has to do with some sort of setting?

*smiles* It's a *very* (read 7 years) old CanonScan LiDe 30. The drivers are nowhere to be found these days and the old disc with drivers + programs disappeared for me.
As it is,it saves the image before exporting it to photoshop which is a right pain in the ass considering photoshop on its own refuses to recognise the scanner.
For now, I'm happy it scans things and allows me to change all the settings *chuckles*.

I open photoshop then use the import command menu to scan my images. Works well too but now I need to figure out how to make the outlines of the images nice and smooth so I can color them better.
I think I might have found a tutorial that tells me how to do it so I am gonna try it out soon.

Nah if I really need to get stuff scanned in large amounts, I'll do it on my mac. At least that one doesn't have any problems with it ...
